Postcards & Illustrations
Sweet and special announcements can come in small sizes, yet still burst with personality. The hand-held designs below incorporate my original drawings along with complementing type-work.
Save the Date Greeting
A fusion of the Groom’s affinity for comic books and the Bride’s fancy for “vintage.” Their Save the Date illustration announced this timeless occasion!
The Pitt Pantry
To promote the Pitt Pantry’s presence on campus and its mission to ensure that all students have regular access to food, I narrowed in on two key ideas:
Showcase the upswing of food insecurity within the college student population
Reduce the negative stigma around seeking support via a food bank
I crafted the deliverable of a 3-part postcard/poster series to be conversational and direct, but strategically not desperate in approach. The “natural” look of the headline and line work boost a fresh positivity (intended to look noodle-ly) and are paired with inviting facts.
Single Forever Show Announcement
Katie’s one woman show reflected on the hiccups of love and the all-powerful relationship — the bond shared with a feline. The writer/actor asked me for a caricature of her and her pet cat to introduce the sarcastic mood, sheer silliness, and relatable honesty of her life situation.

Animal Illustrations
Within a recreational printmaking class, I took my love of drawing animals (especially birds) to the silkscreen. A Quail, Goose, and Unicorn were replicated on 5x7” colored stock, allowing for the lighter ink (even metallic) to pop on the paper.
